... - I ve had this laptop for a few months now and I have to say I m impressed. It looks nice and performs well and I personally think the battery life is quite decent. It s a good laptop all round for the average user.
ACER 5920 - purchased 3 weeks ago and i am very pleased with this laptop. only critisism is the short battery life, otherwise it is fast, easy to set up and looks fairly good. Very happy with and would recommendAcer Aspire 5920 Notebook Laptop, Intel Core 2 Duo T5550, 1.83GHz, 15.4 TFT, 2GB RAM, 250GB Hard-drive, DVD±RW, Intel GraphicsX3100, Integ Webcam, WiFi, Vista Home Premium- especially at £399.
Great laptop for the price - I bought this laptop a couple of weeks ago because, with two teenage kids and an ebay addicted wife, I cannot get access to the desktop PC easily. I wanted a machine that would be quick and good for watching DVDs and basically doing all the things I used to do on the desktop. I am very happy with my purchase. It looks cheap compared to a Sony Viao or a HP, but it performs just as well as a £700 laptop - to me at least. I would recommend this machine to anyone.
Acer Magic - I bought this after a lot of web research. I need access for shopping, banking and processing photos and video. This does the trick in a portable package.Vista is not the dragon I d heard of. Easy to load programs and I did not need to load ISP disc for BT. It is fast, sure and a very good home computer for the amateur. Easy to set up and use - even for a 70 year old.
